It is time the hardworking citizens of District 4 had the representation that they deserve. A
representative who understands what it means to work every single waking hour to barely scrape
by. It is time for your representative to work for you and our district. Unfortunately, many of you feel
that your vote doesn't matter, that taking the time out to go vote and let your voice be heard is
simply a waste of your already stretched time. I understand how valuable your time is. I know what it
means to work two full time jobs just to make ends meet, while at the same time juggling family
responsibilities, attending my childrens school and sporting events, and trying to make a difference
in this chaotic world that we live in.
Like yourself I am definitely no stranger to hard work and long hours. I can directly relate to your
needs and concerns, because they are also my needs and concerns. I decided to run for the U. S.
House of Representatives because I know I can and will make a positive impact on the lives of the
wonderful citizens of our district. I will make sound decisions for our district based on the facts. I
have your best interests at heart and am seeking this office to be able to improve the quality of life
for the residents of Alabama's Fourth Congressional District.
I need your help. I need your vote. Contrary to popular belief your vote does matter and we need it
to be successful. In exchange for your vote and valuable time. I vow to work tirelessly for you and
our district. I will represent you with dignity and class. We may not see eye to eye on every issue,
but I will always put your welfare and that of our district above all else. I will be a Congressman that
you can be proud of, one that you can trust to do the right thing. With your help and that of your
friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers we can be successful. Your vote does count and we can
prove it come June 2008 and again in November 2008. Thank you for your help and support.
